After the two preparatory courses, the Piano Essentials series will continue to provide you with a means of studying essential music theory concepts along with a series of reading assignments. This continues through the intermediate level.

I have carefully selected lessons and exercises from Musictheory.net and associated them with a level number so that you have everything you need for your current level of repertoire.

My recommendation is for you to set aside a little bit of time reviewing these lessons and exercises each day. You can easily do this away from the piano.

Once you get to the sight-reading assignments at the end of each course, spend that same amount of time practicing sight reading.

It is not necessary for you to practice the sight-reading assignment before you complete all the theory lessons, although you are welcome to do this if you wish.
