Repertoire courses help you learn and study music! This is where you should be spending most of your time at the piano!

Masterwork Classics

The Masterwork Classics courses are designed to help you work your way through a repertoire book series known as….Masterwork Classics! These books (and corresponding courses) range from Level 1-10 and feature a solid path of progression from beginner to advanced. Note that you will need to purchase the physical book associated with each course.

All Flex Lessons students should primarily be studying from the Masterwork Classics courses once they reach Level 1-2. This is because most of the supporting content from the other courses are tied to specific Masterwork Classics levels.

For example, if you determine that you are a Level 3 student, you should be working out of Masterwork Classics: Level 3 as well as any other course that shows up as a Level 3 course. Everything stems from your Masterwork Classics repertoire level.

Here is an example of one of the pieces from one of the Masterworks courses. In this example, you’ll find a video to introduce you to this piece, a video that shows you how to practice, and a video to help you wrap up. You’ll also find a performance example.

Some of the course formatting may be slightly different, but this is generally what you can expect.

When practice time allows, students should try to work on at least two pieces at a time.

Performance Repertoire

Premium members gain access to an additional category of course called Performance Repertoire. These new courses contain high-quality selections and personal favorites of mine that exist outside of the Masterwork series. These pieces are generally more challenging.
