Daily Progression Courses
The Daily Progression courses help you learn basic music theory and technique and will ultimately help you to progress through the key system. They are intended to be repeated daily!
You should practice exercises from this type of course at the beginning of each session, regardless of how often you practice. However, don’t linger for more than 5-10 minutes before moving on. If needed, set a timer. You don’t want to burn all your creative energy on scales and exercises. Rather, think of these tasks as a way to mentally and physically warmup.
Also, try to strike a balance between learning new exercises and maintaining old ones, when applicable.
