How to Play Piano for Beginners: A Step by Step Guide

Learning piano by yourself can be quite overwhelming. There’s a lot of information that you need to know! I have made this process as convenient as possible by creating an online video course that presents concepts in a step by step format through a series of self-contained modules.

Course Overview:
Module 1: Learn how the staff works and how to build a habit of identifying notes quickly.
Module 2: Learn how rhythm works and practice counting out different rhythms.
Module 3: Learn about basic piano technique and how your skills apply to the piano.

For the first two sections of this course, you don't even need an instrument. This frees you up to move forward and practice at any place that is convenient to you. This method of isolated learning helps you progress more quickly.

Free Online Piano Course for Beginners!

You might be wondering…what’s the catch? Why would I create a course with multiple hours of video footage and give it away? The truth is that I needed a free way for my new piano students to learn the basics of reading and playing. Why not open this course up to anyone that wants it? It’s just more efficient this way!
