This course supports piano students as they work through Mikrokosmos: Volume 1, a collection of short exercises composed by Béla Bartók. These exercises introduce students to a variety of important musical skills commonly encountered in piano repertoire.

Introduction to Mikrokosmos: Volume 1

Part 1 (Suggested for Level 1 students)

This initial set of exercises from Mikrokosmos is best attempted while working on other Level 1 content. While the first few exercises are very simple, they do get challenging!
